At CAFE MATTEO we use Ransom Coffee, a locally owned boutique roaster of specialty coffee. Being a small batch roaster, Ransom delivers a bespoke bean to cup experience that cannot be matched by the big brand roasters. We have Cairns' only 4 group La Marzocco FB70...and its matte black!

Our cafe is a modern, handsome space that has been converted from a squash court. Retaining the original timber floors and having a warehouse feel, the space is comfortable and inviting. Our staff are young, friendly and dedicated to ensuring you have the best possible experience, in air conditioned comfort.

Fast becoming Cairns' best caterer for fresh and healthy food for breakfast and lunch. All catering is made on the premises in our purpose built catering facility, fresh on the day of your event. We can cater for 2-500 people and we are happy to tailor a menu for your specific occasion. Call for details.
